From the Dead Future. A cynical, bitter individual who's only out to protect themself.

They tried helping others before. Before the collapse. No matter their efforts, everyone succumbed to the horrors of that timeline, so Forth gave up and hid away underground.

But, during a trip to the surface for food, they witness a trio of survivors performing time magic.

This sparks a flicker of hope within Forth. They decide to copy the magic so they might send themself to a better time. But it's stronger than they anticipated. They successfully attain the magic but it spirals out of control and rips a hole in time and space, sucking them into it yet leaving the trio behind.

They wanted to go to the past, yes. And this seems like a happy accident. But they got thrown too far. Way too far. They can't even understand whatever language is of this timeline.

Well, the world is alive, at least. It's just very, very young.

Luckily for Forth, they are an Aurusalkar and they are reborn every few hundred years. With each rebirth, they retain their memories and experiences.

So begins the shenanigans of an Aurusalkar out of time that acts like an old man no matter their physical age.
