Morgan was raised by the Angel's Last Bastion in Crescent Peak for the majority of their life, never leaving the Redwoods where their town lay. Though they kept up the neighbourly acolyte act well enough, dutiful and pleasant, they were deeply unsatisifed with their home, and the stifling bitterness that seeped into the town. They, too, were worn down by the day-to-day exhaustion of grueling life in the Redwoods, and they wanted more. They wanted to feel special. They didn't want to be just another warm body to fill a grave.

They got an opportunity when they came across a flock of mechanical ravens, piloted by a mysterious voice who pleaded for help, and insisted that he could give Morgan whatever they wanted, if they came to him and freed him from his prison. Alongside a young girl named Kitty, who threatened to expose them if they didn't let her come with, they set out with their trusty truck on a trip to find the mysterious Ravenman.

The Ravenman, however, is the least of their worries. With them now serving as his acolyte, they have to worry about the many enemies he has made, and the many enemies that they have made in their journey, including the very "angels" their hometown worships. They don't mind, though - what's the fun if there's no challenge, no blood to spill?
