HIVE

Ancient era: 

A large meteor crashed near the Divide preventing its spread as the land around crystalized. 

Colours:

The large crystal covered land was used as a harvesting ground as the crystals contained a high concentration of energy. 

Old world: 

Gloria, a scientist of the WGA became invested in the strange crystal substance found at the crash site, upon studying and researching she and her team discovered the huge origin object seem to react to being touched and spoken too... over time robotic bodies were created with the crystals used to power them revealed it to be a sentient hive-mind like being. 

A large facility was built around the crash site with the huge crystal given screens and other modifications revealed it to be a stabliser for time and space energies and a time capsule for almost any change their planet had seen including details on Xuce's death. 

The Seeker race was born from this discovery.

New world:

After the extinction event all old world tech was buried in ruins, the seekers slowly waking up after the dust had settled found their creators dead or gone.

Wanting to continue their orders HIVE and the Seekers now continue to record life on Distur so no event is ever forgotten. 

Future:

After bringing a mortal to their ruins the Seekers were rediscovered and convinced to reveal themselves again to the world.
