Profile

Description:

The Symbiotic Clicker is a 16.2-foot Kaiju that are categorized within the Order Beta, rather dormant in their nature they spend most of their day eating leaves, twigs, berries, and, strips of bark. They have a preference for trees that produce sap, observed lapping up the sap out of the bark. They make a loud, audible buzzing clicking noise that rattles on as an intimidation tactic to have others back off from it however are no strangers to attacking if needed. The Symbiotic Clicker is not known to exert too much energy, these Kaiju also exhibit a commensalism relationship with a species in the Fie Order known as Poko-Poko which it’s also seen with other animals.

Anatomy:

Symbiotic Clickers are insect-like with rough scales that help protect them from attacks as these scales can be sharp. Their heads are shaped similar to anteaters with a long mouth that lines up the snout, fitted with two eyes at the sides of their heads with 4 smaller eyes in the middle. SC bare a long large abdomen that flares up the scales giving off the appearance of an open pine cone, which gives off an apparent sweet smell. They have six legs to fit the narrative of their insect-like appearance, their front legs bare of long, sharp claws used to dig into tough bark these being the most dangerous thing about them. The necks are shaped somewhat like an upside-down teardrop being thicker around the neck area, due to this they’re capable of generating loud clicks producing up to 85db in sound. A growth on their neck fans out that also vibrates making a buzzing noise whilst also making them look larger and intimidating.

Reproduction:

Reproduction of Symbiotic Clickers occurs between October and January, laying their eggs in early April. Laying a clutch of up to 15 eggs they nest in a bed of moss lined with rocks in an overgrowth, keeping moisture. The Poko-Poko also lays their eggs in the same nest, whilst providing cleaning services.

Offspring:

Symbiotic Clicker offspring hatch in July, remaining with their mother for about a year and a half. Leaving them around August to find their own territory and mates to reproduce with. Some even leave with the younger Poko-Poko to continue their communalistic relationship.

Behaviour:

The dormant behavior of SC is truant, not seeing much as a threat to reacting. However, it’s been documented that they will attack if their communal Kaiju are in danger.

Habitat:

Symbiotic Clickers live in dense, mossy forests with rich vegetation to consume.
