Nutmeg

Nutmeg is the opposite of his brother being more bites and hostile as he’s delt with so much pain. When he’s calm he can be very affectionate and caring. He loves sugar but it makes him go crazy. He’s very resentful of the ones you had harmed him and will hold a grudge. He’s very protective over his brother and father.

One day a baby squirrel was born in the trees he had learned how to glide and speak. He loved climbing up the trees with his parents. They were so sweet towards him. One day his little brother was born and he absolutely adored him. The little otter (Nutmeg) was allowed to name his baby brother; he landed on the name Eggnog. From that day on, Eggnog and Nutmeg did everything together. Nutmeg taught Eggnog everything he knew from gliding and climbing. Months later as Nutmeg and Eggnog were playing the two heard rustling in the bushes. Nutmeg picked up a stick as he told Eggnog to get up in the tree. Eggnog did what he said as Nutmeg goes close to the bush and SNATCH! Nutmeg was thrown in a cage from a swan as Nutmeg growls and tries to break the cage with the stick. The swan started to leave to his base and Nutmeg saw his brother looking down at him and was scared. Nutmeg was happy Eggnog stayed as he would have been captured too.

The cage was thrown into others with different animals as another side had other animals that had melted faces and missing fur. Nutmeg was scared until he noticed his mother was there. She wasn’t hurt but was on that side. He hears the swan come back as he grabs Nutmeg's arm and drags him and he notices his dad was there too and he cries for his parents. The swan puts him on the table and started to nail Nutmeg’s wings any movement would rip them as Nutmeg cries in pain “SHUT UP RODENT!” The swan yells “boss he has the right to cry you’re nailing his skin!” He noticed a seagull was there too. They seemed traumatized like they’ve seen so much. Nutmeg saw the swan hit the seagull’s head as the swan looked at a blueprint of a fly squirrel anatomy and started to plan. As nutmeg waited he just cried and moved his arm a little and RIP TEAR! He screams loudly as the swan finds what he wanted to use and injects it into the poor rodent. Nutmeg got louder and started to move his arms more as he felt a bad pain everywhere. His wings kept ripping. He wouldn’t stop crying “STOP IT JUST SHUT UP! Fweet you do whatever with him I’m sick of this whiner!” “Okay boss, what’s your plans with the other flying squirrels? They seem like family” “you’ll see and so will that little squirrel” he hears honking laughter as the swan leaves and the seagull (Fweet) unnailed the flying squirrel and picked him up comforting him telling him that things will get better and he’s sorry that the squirrel had been hurt. Fweet took the squirrel to the kitchen and put him down. Nutmeg looked around the kitchen until he felt the pain come back and he yelled as some of his teeth fell out and the missing teeth became canine teeth and his tail became longer like a wolf tail. Nutmeg sniffles as Fweet reassures him. Fweet brought Nutmeg to a cabinet and told him this area is cool and dark. It could help calm him down a little. Nutmeg stayed in the cabinet barely hearing the loud noise and it did feel cool he felt relaxed to the point he fell asleep. When Nutmeg woke up he peaked out and he saw Fweet with two others. He runs over to say hi as Fweet waved. He thanked Fweet as he hears the swan and got picked up. They dragged Nutmeg and showed him the experiment room, putting him in a cage and putting a collar around his neck. Nutmeg sees his father on the table as Nutmeg growls and the swan does his experiments he saw his dad’s organs be replaced and saw his dad go crazy after being injected with something. Nutmeg was stunned and wanted to run away as he tries deep breaths. All of a sudden he hears someone call for him and he looks down seeing a dead looking rat. He jumps as the rat climbs to his cage and opens it and grabs Nutmeg’s paw we the two rodents run off to the cage room. Nutmeg saw his mother again she was dead as stomach acid leaked from her mouth. “M-mom… is she okay…?” “I’m sorry kid she’s dead but he have to go if you don’t wanna become like her. It was a dead end as Nutmeg felt hopeless until the rat brought him to the highest cage and the both went into the vent as they hear the swan calling for Nutmeg. Nutmeg’s collar zapped him and Nutmeg tries not to scream. Once the swan left Nutmeg asked the rat questions. The rat’s name was Reap and apparently the Swan is someone named Pretty bird. The two talked for hours until they went out of hiding and crawled to the kitchen. His final question what’s up with the kitchen. Reap told him it was a safe spot for his pals and is the best place to defend one another. Nutmeg thanked Reap as the two head in the kitchen and Fweet hugged him. “Where have you been!?” “…” Nutmeg doesn’t tell him as he gave a sad look. Fweet doesn’t ask it again and gave Nutmeg a snack as a snacked calmed the seagull’s gang down. Nutmeg had no appetite and doesn’t eat it but thanks for the offer before he went into that cabinet. Well resting he hears Pretty Bird yell for him but Nutmeg doesn’t come out. When Pretty Bird found Nutmeg he grabbed the squirrel by his tail and CHOMP. Nutmeg bit him as Pretty Bird punched his face and Fweet ran to Nutmeg’s aid until Pretty Bird stopped him. Nutmeg laid there until PB had left and woke up with an ice pack on a bed. He looked around and found a gator. The gator was pretty friendly as he hung out with Nutmeg until Nutmeg was better. Now during the times he was there he would talk crap about Pretty Bird calling him nasty looking, harmful, and a fool. Pretty bird had caught him a few times and Nutmeg was badly hurt when caught. One day Boris woke him up early and told Nutmeg and Reap to go with him. Nutmeg immediately took the offer well Reap didn’t. Nutmeg didn’t get why he didn’t. Boris and Nutmeg went into the sewers.

In the sewers Nutmeg rode Boris as Boris swam in the nasty water. He was fast in the water then land as he got to an area within a few minutes as the two got out of it and both jumped into a lake to clean their fur and scales. Nutmeg stayed on Boris’ shoulder as the gator roamed the forest. Nutmeg finally felt safe as Boris and him would talk. Soon enough Boris stepped on a trap as a bow hit him. Nutmeg got scared as something gilded and tackled him. Boris didn’t attack as he didn’t know if Nutmeg knew them and didn’t want to take a chance of him harming a pal or family. The two animals fought until Boris finally broke up the fight. Once the animal looked without fighting “Nutmeg?…” “Eggnog!? Is that really you?” Both of their tails wag as Eggnog tackled and hugged him he told Nutmeg that he missed him and asked what happened. Nutmeg told him then Eggnog asked about their parents as Nutmeg lied and said the parents didn’t want to take care of them. Nutmeg now asked a question and asked what Eggnog was doing as Eggnog told him he’s got a new father. He brought Nutmeg there as Boris followed just in case. The father wasn’t a squirrel, instead a vulture that had blood dripping from its beak. Nutmeg was nervous at first as vultures love eating rodents. It walked up to Nutmeg and kneeled down getting on his level well it spoke in a soothing voice saying hi you must be Nutmeg. The vulture seemed to be nice but Nutmeg was still nervous. Nutmeg stuttered as he took a step back. Eggnog tells him not to be afraid he doesn’t wanna kill then if he did so he could have done for months. Him and Eggnog had a long discussion until Nutmeg took his word and the two squirrels started to play until Eggnog noticed Nutmeg’s wings and asked him what happened. He tells him about Pretty Bird and it made Eggnog upset that one would do that. Soon it hit night and their father called for them. The two ran as they saw the vulture and Boris got some food for the four to share.

Years later, the vulture formed a group with two other people. Nutmeg and Eggnog became members immediately as they were the vulture's sons. The crew had 26 members in whole as they all treated one another as family. Nutmeg felt safe here as Pretty Bird wouldn’t find him and probably wouldn’t bother as he’s in a battle with the Shell Clan. The gang would scavenge for food as Nutmeg would help his father out. Nutmeg also would protect his father with Eggnog if he were to ever go off and venture. Some nights no one could find food whatsoever and Nutmeg would look for new things like chewing on bark for the time being. He loved playing board games with the fox of the group (Swifts). The two would play until Nutmeg would get destroyed. Nutmeg was also somewhat violent towards the others randomly mainly when he was scared. Biting others, growling, and seeming scary. He sometimes had nightmares of the events that had occurred and just wanted to kill that bird, often talking about his spite even if he felt like that swan would harm him.

Nutmeg is still in the gang protecting and helping his family/gang. He absolutely loves sugar, often taking it and going crazy. He soon became great buddies with the Stoat (Cinnamon) who loved talking. Cinnamon would bring Nutmeg to SharkyCade to get pizza which leads him to get on a sugar rush with all the soda he consumes.

• He gets a sugar rush very easily.
