Apple Heart is a short statured stallion that is just as strong and hard working as anyone else. His birth name is Hardy Hooves, but he decided to change it after he got his cutiemark.
Despite his chosen name, Apple Heart doesn't always work with apples. He's a very open for any kind of hard work kind of pony, and can often be seen making heavy deliveries for other ponies. When he is working, he gets so focused on what he is doing, he tends to not notice much else, which often results in him not realizing he's injured himself somehow until after the day is done.
