Comet

Comet has always felt more comfortable around creatures, cryptids, and entities than humans. The docile and neutral ones appreciated the warm attitude, and he wasn't suitable prey for the malicious ones, since there was no fear to feed on and exploit. With few human friends, he had no reason to hold any grudges towards them, and occassionally even helped them lead people into their traps. Due to his helmet getting damaged in an area inhabited by the fog - a hivemind-like entity assimilating anyone who physically interact with it, he got affected and has a deep connection with it. He currently retains his sense of self, but his goals are above all focused on the wellbeing of the creature he is now one with.

He is often seen accompanied by The Cat, but they do not interact directly. The Cat can take the form of a normal cat or a deformed looking creature, ranging from slightly malformed to incomprehensible horror. It can appear solid or just a shape in the fog. The Cat is assumed to be some form of a manifestation of the fog entity's presence, but it remains only an assumption.
