Madoka has wanted to train in magic since she was young, playing with minor spells she'd learned from her grandparent's scrolls in the snowfields of her homeland. 

One day, she finally got an opportunity to study abroad under a powerful sorceress named Nerys, and she took it. She met Xuebing (her now wife) on one of her first days of training, and they've had a special connection ever since. 

She's a more adventurous student than her classmates, and isn't afraid to jump right into spells and enchantments, even those she may not be skilled enough to handle. She's bouncy, optimistic, kind-hearted, and wears her heart on her sleeve. She experiences overwhelming empathy, making it hard for her to engage in battle.
