Despite the fact that she's an Icewing, Snowleopard is a hot-blooded dragon. Upright and fierce, she was able to win the queen’s trust for her impeccable work. She is part of her inner army and is in the first circle. That is why she married Iceberg. Her dream was to be queen, and access to power... but that being impossible, Leopard placed all her hopes in her daughter: Ermine. She wished her daughter could one day challenge the queen, but she went from disappointment to disappointment: Ermine did not fulfill her expectations. Their relationship is quite unstable, and she ended up flying away from her mother for those reasons.
Ermine feels like her mother never supported her other than for taking the crown. She destroyed all of her written works in order to motivate her in a way, but obviously, it didn't work. Instead, Ermine escaped, swearing that she will never return home.
