An actual character I met in a dream. I would forget what it looked like after I turned away from it, I would only remember the thick gray smoke. And it had a lingering feeling of dread all around it, I legit had that lingering dread with me for hours after I'd woken up. It would posses people and make them feel emotional pain, and sometimes posses the dead, and when it did the face of the dead person they possessed is something I actually can't describe, I just had a cold shock of grief and terror when I looked into it's eyes.

I sometimes wonder if it was an actual demon that came into my dream.
