A kind and patient cat who despite his best efforts failed to pass those qualities on to his apprentice. Stonespot had a fairly close relationship with Thistleheart when they were both still alive and are still friends in starclan. 

Stonespot often tried to convince Leopardstar of the good that could come from building friendships with the other clans but Leopardstar generally ignored his advice when it came to clan matters. 

Stonespot died from a combination of old age and a stubborn case of greencough that he wasn't strong enough to completely fight off

- When it became clear that Roseleaf (at that time Rosepaw) was not learning all she needed to from Dustflower and that Dustflower was close to giving up on Roseleaf's training Stonespot began visiting Roseleaf's dreams and helping teach her. Stonespot even enlisted the help of Thistleheart now and again to help Roseleaf learn.

- After Rowanpaw's death Stonespot was able to help Roseleaf discover what had happened to Rowanpaw due to Stonespot having experienced a similar situation with a young kit. Stonespot was adamant about the accident not being Roseleaf's fault even when Roseleaf insisted that it was

- Sometimes wished that he could have had a mate and kits. He doesn’t regret becoming a medicine cat and believes he wouldn't have been a very good warrior but he sometimes wishes that he could have had a family of his own.
