Medicine cat. Daughter of Swanstar and Applefrost

Was caught in a fox trap laid by her mother Swanstar that left her throat severely damaged. Voice is raspy as a result. She did not want to become a medicine cat, but was forced to thanks to Swanstar's actions. She does her job reluctantly, and is obsessed with what she should have been. She resents her sister Mistyeyes, as well as Swanstar. She loved her other mother Applefrost, and fell apart after her death. After Willowfrost dies she takes over the medicine den, and almost never leaves it, sending other warriors to gather herbs for her until she can get her apprentice Peachpaw to do so. Her mental health continues to decline as the moons pass, and while her sister Mistystar does everything she can to care for her and hide this fact, eventually the Clan starts to pick up on it as well.

Bad tempered, always unkempt, refuses to hear anyone out

This is 1000% her song

WIP Story -

Moondapple was born to Swanstar and Applefrost with her sister  Mistyeyes. She was born to the clans in the early moons of Swanstar's  reign, where the territory expansions her mother put forth were in their  beginning stages. Her time in the nursery were the best of her life,  with Swanstar otherwise occupied, most of her time was spent with her  other mother Applefrost, her sister, and Shadestep, who served as an  older brother figure to the two. It was when she became a paw, that  Swanstar's ambitions came more and more into focus. See, the current  medicine cat was getting old, and Swanstar was determined that her  replacement be someone devoted to her absolutely. What better cat to do  so than one of her daughters? The only problem? Neither herself or  Mistypaw wanted to become anything but a warrior. At first,  Swanstar's focus was on Mistypaw. But when it became clear, that despite  her poor eyesight, Mistypaw was a talented hunter, fighter, and  strategist, Swanstar quickly changed her attention to Moonpaw. Moonpaw  wasn't exactly bad at any of these things, but she wasn't  exactly good at them either. Her fighting skills were painfully average,  hunts returning a moderate amount of prey - it was clear she couldn't  keep up. But that didn't stop her from wanting to do better. With  Shadestep as her mentor, and her other mother Applefrost both supporting  her, she stood her ground against Swanstar's insistence for her to join  the medicine den. Swanstar in turn took to berating her daughter, and  piling praise onto Mistypaw, who she took as her own apprentice after  Mistypaw's mentor passed. Moonpaw couldn't understand what she did  wrong, or why, even despite improving, she couldn't be good enough. And  what's worse, she couldn't shake the guilt that came when Applefrost and  Swanstar's relationship started to crumble thanks to Swanstar's  treatment of her. Applefrost defended her daughter every chance she got,  and insisted she follow her own path - but Moonpaw couldn't help but  think maybe her fractured family could be repaired if she just, gave up  her warrior dreams to become a medicine cat. In fact, she was about to  speak to her mother about doing just that, when the accident occured.  Tired of waiting, Swanstar has laid a trap for her daughter - not to  kill her, of course, but just to incapacitate her enough to where  becoming a warrior would be impossible.
