despite looking like a horrifying undead FREAKAZOID, morel is actually a very friendly guy!!! or he tries to be- he knows how off-putting and frankly disgusting his appearance is, so morel tries to be as kind as possible to make others more comfortable around him he's also always in a big cloak that covers his head and most of his body. it's not as tattered and musty looking as you may think, morel keeps it clean as he does with everything. he's a very tidy man anyways he hates being percieved cuz he knows it will almost ALWAYS be some way negative. for two reasons: hes a freak, and then hes a freak (personality wise) hes extremely awkward and tense and does not know how to reply to most things so he doesn't reply at all and it gets really quiet. then he keeps trying to make jokes to fill up the silence but they always fall flat and after these interactions morel will think about it a lot and get really sad over it and his self worth will plummet super low and he will vow to never talk to another dragon again but that never really works out for him so i guess he'd be considered a little introverted ^_^ anyways because of morel's general distaste for interacting with any other sentient being, he just talks to his mushrooms. oh and also. he can sense things through his lil mantle leafwing mushroom speak shit like the HBO tlou infected.
