Story: Most Yamabiko live in the mountains. Eiji chooses to live in the forest, taking up the role of that voice that always seems to be following you when you're alone. Among the youkai, he's the town crier, letting the others know if there is something interesting in the forest or if there's something dangerous.

Personality: The middle child of the friend group, Eiji tries to do everything is his power not to fall to the wayside. But as a result of that, he's loud, a bit reckless, and extremely energetic. Combine that with him not being the brightest bulb, he kind of ends up as the group's punching bag.
