Previously a corpse of a creature slain by adventurers, left to rot & be picked off by the scavengers of Thanalan. Retrieved by Nald & taken to his brother - given Thal is the God of Death, suspects corpses could be of interest & useful for magicks.
Still retaining knowledge of Culinarian, the missing portions of the corpse are replaced with salmon meat....its all they had on hand at the time. Despite the previous backfires with the other entities, Thal still remains determined to bring back one corpse (successfully), this will not be one of them. Even with the beast regaining a "life essence" once more, it's still a mishmash of several day old corpse & raw salmon meat. The smell is not pleasant. (Nald would be unwell while Thal's high tolerance would begin to struggle). Pretty affective at warding off tomb defilers!
