Yarara

Yarara (given name W'lhyrugaa) is a geoling native to the southern Wyu'hlkee islands of their homeplanet. Originally sent as a biologist on a long term mission to study life on one of their planetary moons, the launched craft became caught in an unexplained anomaly and ended up on earth instead. He was given the task of studying similar anomalies on the planet by the pilots, but abandoned this objective when he became seperated from the crew. He began to wander the southern coastlines, studying the foreign marine life as he went.

Yarara has compiled a massive tome on all the animals he's seen as well as information on humans. He has grown increasingly lonely in the past 18 years, but has managed to make a few friendships to stave off some of the effects of social isolation, learning 3 languages in the process. They have most recently come into contact with Jan Leimann, a rather driven human scientist who's intent on sticking to Yarara like a leech. They are very close and currently live together in the patagonia region. Many of their days are spent whale watching or doing anything they find interesting.

With Jans help, Yarara is currently searching for his flight crew once more, in the hopes that they might still be alive.
