Tinker

Tinker is a creature from a time long passed... They lived their entire life alone in a self-sustaining ecosystem, not ever assuming the world is much bigger than the fogged-up glass walls they're surrounded by. Then one day, the power turned on and the dome around them was lifted. They discovered they were ACTUALLY in a broken down building much larger than the world they're used to. Overwhelmed, they stumbled back, and in doing so fell through a vent and a long long way down... Through open skies with floating islands unlike they've ever seen before! Which is how they found (or were found) by the shrew family he's staying with.

Tinker is rather insecure when in unfamiliar situations, which is A Lot in the world he finds himself in. They only grow confident around those they trust. They're also really creative and inventive, and like spending their time creating wacky things to get around shortcomings.

Unlike all the other creatures in this world, Tinker can not walk on the energy fields flowing through the air.
