Cricket was found by the Devil's Guard on the outskirts of Purgatory. He had brutally murdered an angel who had strayed much too far from their home in curiosity, but you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat. He was brought in, and Lucifer welcomed the demonic entity with open arms. While Cricket works much like a Hellhound, he is higher above them in ranks and is seen as a mercenary amongst the realms of Hell, another one of the devil's attack dogs
He was born, no , created in Purgatory. He awoke in the place of monsters and quickly realized that he had to kill or be killed. A world of claws, teeth and violence, the strongest prevail. Cricket quickly climbed the hierarchy in the realm between realms, staving off attacks from faceless monsters and angels trying to purge the lands of the "filthy sin riddled creations"
For many years he patrolled the borders, he killed many things that wanted him dead or that were just too heavenly to let live. If he was to remain in this place forever, he would make sure that only those like him remained.
It wasn't long before he was ripping another angel into pieces, stealing their wings to line the cave floors he stayed in. It just so happened that on this same day, the Devil's Guard was patrolling with the rise in angels crossing into Hell through Purgatory. Impressed with his ferocity, they escorted him to Lucifer.
Lucifer took an interest in the hellish entity before him, and welcomed him to Hell. Over the years, Lucifer has hired Cricket to track, hunt and kill those that he deemed targets. Cricket has carried out every order, a loyal soldier that oh so happily murders in the name of the fallen one.
