Being made in a lab by a government program, Mango barely knew the outside world. He was ultimately brought into existence to be a weapon for the government.

Having escaped at one point or another, he stumbled through a forest trying to get as far from his birthplace as possible. Hiding in a large growth of plants and trees he came across a fruit bat named Aya. Aya was hiking into the forest as a vacation.

Upon seeing the weak and battered Mango, he felt the need to help and convinced the subject to follow along to his camp site. Mango, obviously shaken, was quiet the whole travel.

When arriving at the camp site, Aya handed him food, water, and anything else he could think of to help. Finishing up their meal, Aya decided to bring Mango home with him.

From there they became partners and now live together as Mango begins to navigate the world around him.
