Caelzar

Caelzar belongs to the Asara, a revered group tasked with the sacred duty of protecting the divine beasts. Before his ascension, he was a mere mortal like his fellow Asara. However, fate dealt him a cruel hand when his kin fell victim to the Karfezliya massacre. He and his cousin Hanera were the only survivors of the brutal attack and were left to fend for themselves. Their prayers were answered when Chandra, the moon deity, took them in as his wards. The two pleaded with the moon deity to let them stay in the region and help rebuild what was left of their clan. Naer needed a proper successor to maintain balance, and the leaders of the free territory could only earn the position through their merits. However, Caelzar's persistence and unwavering determination paid off, and he eventually filled the once-empty post until his tenure ended with his ascension as Grisir's keeper.

As a member of the Asara, Caelzar is known for being energetic and always bringing a smile to his team members' faces, despite their clashing personalities and differing perspectives. They highly value him for his sharp intellect, immense strength, and quick thinking in battle. He, too, is always willing to engage in a friendly spar to settle any disputes, which is a common practice among Naerian Ladrcal, and he does so with a warm and amicable disposition that wins him many friends and admirers.

Despite being occupied with his Asara duties, Caelzar always finds the time to visit Naer—his family, his home, and his kin. He treasured these visits and uses them as a chance to reconnect with his roots and reminisce about the past. Despite the tragedy that befell his clan, Caelzar remains hopeful and focused on his duty to protect Grisir and maintain balance in the region.
