Driadis is the daughter of Kastor, a royal of the House of Kannar, and Malagdaer, a Nervan noble outcast who pledged loyalty to the enemy and became the prince's champion. Her mixed bloodline is a source of contempt for the House of Nerva due to their long-standing feud with the Kannars and the war only intensified their animosity, as both houses competed for power. Despite her mixed heritage, Driadis was raised to embrace the beliefs of Kannar and hoped for a future where her people could coexist with surface society. However, her unyielding determination was put to the test after Kastor's death at the hands of someone she once loved and trusted. Driadis later claimed the throne with bloodstained hands and let Malagdaer reclaim Nerva, but the newly-crowned king of Kannar must confront the dark history between the two families and work to forge a path toward peace. |
