i dont necessarily subscribe to skepticism of the 'dont believe your own perceptions' sort, but the vibe feels very scyph co to me, and, well. brain in a vat!
while drawing them, i liked to imagine this jel being a fiction writer, maybe. always making up stories. making up a world like descartes' evil demon until they're lucid again, at which point their eyes open and theyre blinded by the sun and by truth.
'here is one hand' is an epistemological argument in support of common sense, made by g.e. moore.
