About Mask Dragons

Mask Dragons are small magical animals! They have translucent parts made out of magic! These can take the form of many things, but most often they take the form of wings! Their magic is usually one color but Dragons with multicolored magic is not unheard of!

Their titular feature is their faces, which look like they have 'masks' - they are bony, almost resembling skulls, and often have horns. These are actually part of their faces and cannot be removed, at least not without seriously injuring the Dragon. Without the mask, the face is generally heavily scarred as it usually only comes off if it is tornĀ off, though some are born without them and therefore lack scarring.

The mouth is beak-like, with the top jaw being part of the mask, which is hard and bony, and the bottom jaw being more fleshy and having small teeth. Their eyes are typically blank, usually black, but they can be any color. They can have any kind of ears, not just the spiked ones seen on the old sheet!

Their bodies can be any colors/patterns! They can also have any texture, like fur, scales, skin, feathers, etc. and any combination thereof! They often have tails, typically a mid-length reptilian tail, but they can form any shape as well, like a curled tail, and even stranger tails like fish tails or sets of multiple!

MYO Rules

You can feel free to make as many of them as you'd like. You do not need to link back here to credit me if you are just making them for yourself for personal use but if you want to sell adopts or trade/resell them, then I'd ask that you mention the species name with credit to me somewhere. Otherwise there are no rules on selling adopts really! Have fun.

You can also feel free to share your creations with me! There is no approval process or anything, I just love to see what people make out of these things! My main is CHELRY so feel free to ping me there to show me or to ask any questions you have about the species!
