Cyril

Cyril is an aasimar fighter who goes adventuring and fulfills quests to win the approval of his family. He is very nice, friendly, chivalrous, and optimistic. Very much a himbo.

Backstory
Cyril grew up with a noble family, which consisted of his parents and two older brothers. He was born with golden wings printed on his back, along with small wings behind each of his ears. Because of these odd features that they didn't understand,  his family treated him differently as he grew up, usually ignoring and dismissing him and seeing him as weak/defected. His father, a strict general, trained Cyril’s brothers sword combat and Cyril wanted to be trained too. But his father told him no and that he wasn’t fit for it. Cyril was disappointed but still determined to learn, so he learned himself.

When he became older he decided to go adventuring and complete quests to gain the approval of his family and impress them. He hopes that his successes will make his family love and respect him but his family doesn’t actually care. Cyril is very willing to put himself before others and also has a habit of not saying no to people, being a bit of a pushover and not wanting to upset people. Cyril also tends to suppress his aasimar abilities and cover his ear wings with his hair.

Relationships

His parents very much care about the appearance of their family name which is why they tell Cyril to suppress his odd features and abilities. His mother mostly cares about the physical appearance of the family, spending lots of money on fancy clothes and home decor. She tends to be vain and dismissive. 

Cyril's father tends to care more about power, being the best there is, and hating weakness. He is very strict and brutal when it comes to  combat and training, especially towards his oldest sons, and doesn't want them to fail whatsoever. He also contributes to the corruption in the kingdom. 

Cyril's brothers were trained from an early age and are currently recruited as knights. They were raised to be strong and avoid weakness. Their parents told them to look down upon Cyril and not to be like him. Cyril's brothers, who were afraid of the consequences of not listening to their parents,  obeyed and usually ignored Cyril. On one hand they slightly resent Cyril, wishing that they didn't have to constantly train and fight so they could go on fun adventures like him instead. On the other hand they do feel bad for Cyril and do care for him deep down, but would never admit it around their parents.
