Anelace
It is better to fight for something than to die for nothing
Ane grew up in an all military family. She was used to her father traveling the world for his job and idolized him for it. When she became old enough she volunteered to participate in Operation: Outlast. She didn't know much about it until she was tested. It became clear to Ane that this was a form of government experimentation to help the human race survive the cruel world they found themselves on. She quickly passed her tests and became an Amalgam. Anelace has a very upbeat personality. She likes to have fun and be adventurous. Her favorite thing in the world is to challenge herself by playing in the treetops testing her balance. She enjoys being with others but most of the time will be independent. There is only so much social interaction she can handle when exposed to people for a long period of time. Love for her is on the back burner. She is not actively seeking to find that one true person. She is a workaholic who focuses on her job first and foremost. Once she puts her mind to a mission she does not give up until everything is resolved and over. She holds herself to a high standard and becomes super serious. She is used to editing her appearance for special missions so she doesn't tend to focus on her looks that much. Most of the time this makes her read as a serious tomboy. She can be manipulative and knows how to use her strengths to her advantage.
Background
Ane is from the colony of Velemyre on the eastern edge of The Glass Forest. She was born there. (more backstory here when I think of it) She was fused with the regelian that was naturally from that area, The Smilan.
Skills & Weakness
Skill One
Her biggest skill is using light to her advantage. She can turn the light particles around her into a solid state. She loves to shape them into sharp shards of glass. She mainly likes to impale her victims this way. The more projectiles the easier to hit the target. This is not her only form of weapon using her ability of light. She pretty much can create whatever she wants.
Weakness One
Even though Anelace is strong and determined she can be quite fragile over time. She tends to overexert herself a lot. She has a history of running her energy low which makes her more susceptible to damage in a fight. She is very hard headed therefore doesn't realize when to call it quits and back down. This creates a vulnerability in her and other's can take advantage of that aspect.
Skill Two
Balance and Flexibility. Anelace loves to play in the trees. She uses her body and balance to her advantage which makes climbing almost second nature to her. She sometimes forgets that others are not as graceful as her when going out on a mission, typically losing them behind her as she zooms through the forest. Due to her cat-like reflexes, she is very agile and is quick to dodge incoming attacks.
Weakness Two
She has a tendency to plan and over think things. Sometimes it is hard for her to accept the simplest paths and outcomes. Everything has to be this big complex endgame that is a test for her. She sees everything as a challenge to prove her worth. Unfortunately, this involves her love life too. Nothing has ever been easy for the Amalgam, not even love.

Quirks
* Anelace has many talents but reliving her past is not one of them. The furthest she will do is to make daggers of the places she has traveled throughout her life. She carries these with her to every new location and only shows those she trusts her hidden talent. Each dagger is made from the local fauna in the area and fused with a certain type of glass. These instruments are highly deadly if not extremely fragile also. She's never had to use one on anyone and doesn't plan on it. They are memories locked away in a small bag that can be rolled up and placed inside a suitcase at a moments notice.
Noticeable Markings:
Ane has leopard spots across both of her shoulders due to her being an Amalgam. She also has three claw marks from a big cat regalian across her left chest across that breast from an attack when she first joined the military.

Ideas ~
*Every year on her birthday (Human not amalgam) she spends most of the day isolated and alone if she can. She makes a glass flower high up in the trees and 'plants' it somewhere in the treetops. She does this throughout the day and when the sun sets just right, the light travels through her glass petals hidden in the treetops and casts a rainbow in the sky. This is her small birthday tradition that she has done every year since she was away from her family. It's long become a habit for Ane to see the rainbow on her birthday stretch across the sky representing a childhood lost long ago and a fleeting good memory.
