Pigeon Ruthe Wells | they/them | 22
Pigeon joined the others on their quest across The Nowhere after meeting them in Windshire, helping them to navigate the massive city. They joined because they didn’t really have a lot going on, and definitely not because they're lonely and wanted to have friends nooooo totally not, they’re just bored! Trust them! They’re particularly close with Owl after she helped them out of a tricky situation, they’re stupid besties.
They grew up in Windshire, raised by their grandmother after she found them on her doorstep. They’ve always struggled to make friends and were pretty badly bullied as a kid. Their main escape from their troubles was going to go see plays at the local theatre, igniting their passion for the performing arts. They're an aspiring actor, not super renowned or anything, despite what they may say, but very very passionate about it!
They present themselves as a super charismatic and dramatic individual, one with a little bit of an ego. But this is mostly just the persona they display, they’re actually deeply insecure and self conscious. They don’t think people will like them from the get go so they play up their personality as a way to avoid having to be serious about the way they feel. Pigeon is responsible for a good amount of trouble that the Nightingang finds themselves in, they love causing a bit of mischief; especially if it involves annoying Raven. Finding every possible way to push Raven’s buttons is a specialty of theirs. Never let them be left alone with anyone other than Raven, they are a black hole of brain cells and this will cause problems for everyone involved.
Random Notes:
- They have reading glasses, though they absolutely refuse to wear them. They’re insecure about the way it makes them look (even though they look adorable raaaahh <//3)
- They pretended to hate the book series that Raven likes (they actually think it looks pretty interesting), but when they found out Owl likes it as well they started to read it with her,,, specifically to piss Raven off for fun.
- It's hard to tell how stupid they actually are. On one hand, they love to pretend to be a little stupid as their persona, but on the other hand they are also just kinda stupid as well. (im so sorry my baby i swear i love you <3)
