Accidently joined Sparrow and Raven on their journey across The Nowhere after saving them from a Remnant attack. She’s actually been sent by her mother to kill whoever possesses Caladrius’s Lantern and take the lantern back. But don’t worry, she’s way too much of a sweetie pie to ever do anything like that, this assassin gets assimilated into the found family near instantly. She’s pretty much the main line of defence that the party has against Remnants.

Owl was primarily raised by Swan, her mother, in their estate located in The Old Country. Her family is part of The Nowhere’s aristocracy, and are actually the most influential family in the country. Swan wasn’t a very good mother to her, if at all, and Owl grew up under her thumb, isolated from the world through fear and manipulation, love entirely conditional.

She actually has another parent who disappeared from her life at a very young age, her mum: Crow. Owl doesn’t really remember much about her, but her most prominent memory of Crow is one of her cloaked in a terrifying shadow reaching out to grab her. Swan had always explained this as Crow trying to kill her as a child, which certainly doesn’t help with the trauma, but is also a big fat lie! Crow loves her kid more than anything in the entire world!! (Swan only gets worse from here folks)

She comes off as a little aloof at first, not helped by her piercing amber eyes that she can stare at you intimidatingly with by accident. But she’s actually super sweet and friendly, she’s just shy! Very polite and reserved, also very prone to over apologising for small things.

The Nightingang are her first actual friends she’s ever made and she loves them so much, she enjoys their little quest so much that she almost forgets why she’s there in the first place. When the group arrives back to Oaksted and meets Crow she is internally freaking the hell out, even though their journey made her doubt her mother’s morals she still believes what she said about Crow. Owl finds her very intimidating, which is awkward because Crow is very eager to try to talk to her and bond with her.

Everything will work out fine for them in the end don’t worry <3

Random Notes:

• She’s a big fan of the same mystery novel series as Raven, they get to be silly little nerds together <3
• She embroiders as a hobby and is pretty good at it.
• Has a really strong phobia of rabbits, she isn’t really sure where it came from, but she wants to get over it! She wants to be friends with the little fluffy guys!
