ABOUT
Peak's darling moonlight angemo, Usagi was created from the bond between Chang'e and Hou Yi before Chang'e took both immortality drugs and frifted off to the moon. There's a likely chance that she was the jade rabbit associated with the moon goddess in the legends, with her brilliant jade green wings, small stature and bunny ears, it's easy to think she was but a little bunny
Being one of the older angemos, Usagi has guarded generations of mortals throughout her life, she's seen the best and the worst hhumanity has had to offer and then some, but even through all that, she still sees the best in all. Unlike most heavenlies, Usagi isn't one to judge the fallen too harshy, especially the ones who have fallen for failing to protect their mortals, It s no easy task to protect a human being after all!
Trivia
- Her bioluminescent glow was possibly an aftereffect of being on the moon, it's not as bright as it seems, only being as bright as a glowstick, really
- she has had a few mortals that were destined to die young, and she had cherished each one and made sure they lived their short lives to the fullest
- being somewhat of a pretty old angemo, Usagi finds new technology really fascinating
- whenever her mortal is nearing their fated death, Usagi often likes to interact with that human more so that when they die, they have a friend to walk with one last time
Design Notes
- her uneven pigtails are supposed to resemble the moon/saturn rings
- her sleeves and leggings are metallic
- her eyebrows are also meant to resemble little crescent moons as well as her eyelashes
- her lipstick is an irridescent blue :)
- she's actually wearing really frilly shorts lol
- the wheels on her shoes are actually just kinda hovering, like gogo from big hero 6
- the gold stars on her head can vary (2-3 stars)
