moth / insectoid based alien that evolves dependent upon hive placements on planet and terrain. he is considered a rare accident among the drones and appears much larger than they are meant to be. consider him a happy mix of orca and leopard seal in temperament and evolution.

scaledust; it scatters as particles from his fur at will and when inhaled by other species he takes the appearance of them in kind. it is a defense mechanism to hide his true species. the effects last for only a few hours at a time which are generally enough to keep him safe. he also has multiple vocal chords and is capable of mimicking any sound that he has heard; including subvocals of another species. it was primarily used to hunt the fauna of his tundra-based home and lure them close. defensive and hunting measures aside he has brute strength on his side and a multitude of eyes; he is also capable of water-based living but is not entirely aquatic due to failure of proper assimilation. this has resulted in him being primarily land based with some ability to be at home diving deep and in cold waters, though not for long.
