Profile

Salome 'Sal' Martinelli
Appearance
Towering and foreboding, Cleaner's build is made for. . . intimidation? He grew into the his appearance and perception of such, though it took a significant amount of time to ease into it. Typically, he keeps himself inconspicious, with 'unremarkable' blue-collar style.
Personality
Ol' Reliable. Cleaner is fairly average, though hard-working and thoughtful under that unreadable face of his. He tends to keep to himself under most circumstances, happy to stand in corners and mind his own business. Cleaner is a touch irritable, only from years of work with unwieldy folk and from being perceived as lesser for one reason or another. Cleaner doesn't derive joy from his work, and is one instance away from retiring.
Background
No One To Depend On.
Simple enough, really. Salome was born third, somewhere in small-town Minnesota to a fairly large family. Spending most of his days tending to his many siblings, he found himself rather unremarkable and was certain he was cut for the whole straight and narrow path until his uncle, Julien Martinelli swung around and snatched him up for a 'routine trip down to Trenton-' his parents' old stomping grounds.
Being implicated in the business was never really in his books. Especially at his tender age of 19. But life can be peculiar, and so, so unfair. Salome never came home that week, despite Julian saying it was merely a daytrip of sorts. He called his beloved, worried mother on the telephone and. . . said nothing.
Hold On I'm Comin'.
Cleaner was in high demand around the East Coast for his efficiency, cleaning and re-framing crime scenes for unscrupulous folks. Unfortunately, climbing out of this pit would prove difficult- Can't say he hasn't tried. With his Plymouth station wagon, an assortment of cleaning solutions, and a steel stomach, Cleaner simply took to doing his work and staying out of the way.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's, Cleaner met a Midas Wijaya in Miami. Though, she was better known as 'Change,' a notorious gold-digger looking for an accomplice to clean up her quote 'messes' involving her husbands. Someone killing for a handsome insurance payout seemed standard enough, and she paid well for him to clean, so Cleaner's been working for her ever since. You could say they're friends.
Relationships
Midas 'Change' Wijaya
Change is the closest client Cleaner has ever had the pleasure and displeasure of working with. They're friends- To a degree. Somedays he finds her remarkably grating, but she can let up. Her cunning is something that he personally lacks, despite her ditzy veneer.
