gossamer doesn’t really know his origin story nor does anyone else. his family is unknown; he has simply existed for as long as he can remember. he believes the fates know where he originates from but he has no desire to ask. he doubts they’d tell him anyways.

he has also had his companion, crius, god of the constellations, for as long as he can remember.

gossamer is a deep, quiet soul who finds solace in tranquility and solitude. the vast expanse of time he has existed has provided him with deep wisdom and an ever-growing radiant empathy for others. this tom is not one to jump into situations head first or make split second decisions. he takes his time to weigh the outcomes of any decision and tries to choose the one he thinks is the correct choice. typically, it is, due to the amount of thought and effort he puts into everything of his life. gossamer is a sweet and compassionate cat who puts others before himself. especially his sweet fysi who he would give his entire being and existence for.

while the aura about the large tom is flooded with a regal air and outlined with an otherworldly glare, the minute him and his fysi are alone he melts into a puddle. within the sole presence of his love, gossamer is almost childish. he trots along on her heels, seeks her warmth and companionship constantly, and dotes and worries over her almost akin to a helicopter parent. he is playful and sweet, offering compliments and praise for the littlest things. gossamer can also be found to be bashful around his mate, nervous in an adolescent way. he is protective of her, although he is more than knowledgeable about the fact that she can very well hold her own.

while in battle, gossamer is a different story. he is steadfast and authoritative whose sole purpose is to protect fysi and the others he cares for even if it takes his own life. he is almost ruthless with his skills and battle intelligence. gossamer will lead his troops into battle, not hide away and direct them from behind. yet even in the heat of battle his compassion is still present; allowing those who clearly are frightened or who had been forced into fighting to escape with their lives. gossamer is diplomatic and prefers to talk through a confrontation than allow it to become physical.

gossamer holds himself with pride and an air of reservation, but the softness of his reputation and kindness and respect for others within his speech allows him to be approachable and sought after for aid and advice without fear. he is fair and understanding with a lack of judgment, even with those he does not believe to have good intentions. with what seems to be a bottomless pit of patience, gossamer is a deity one would wish to have within their own realm, and fysi is more than proud to call him her own.
