Tatsumaru Harai

Considering that Tatsumaru Harai has only ever been in a handful of shows, it's a wonder why they were even scouted as an Ultimate. Of course, it can't be understated how mechanically perfect they are as a performer, not to mention that their few performances were shows at Kabukiza Theater - which really brings into question if they have anything else to do than perform. When you take into account the fact that they don't seem to exist off the stage, they probably don't. Obviously their legal, non-performance name isn't Tatsumaru Harai, but you'd think it'd be easier to track them down outside of shows. Their personality can be extrapolated from what exists of them as "dedicated" and "probably dramatic".

Maru's personality actually cannot be extrapolated as anything at all - if you ask them, anyway. Being brought up in the shadow of other people's fame and legacies did not do very good things to them, and by that I mean their sense of identity is very poorly formed. In their mind, they exist mostly to serve and imitate others, and their own well-being is of little importance. To Maru, whoever they must be, it is both bad and not enough. This isn't to say that they spend all of their time being angsty, because they actually spend most of their time trying to figure out what social cues are and also what they like. Like Amal, they are also not immune to being a teenage nerd.
