Blythe Enriquez

At the begining of Blythe's life had been a rough one since the start. She grew up in a rough enviroment and never truely got a break from what she had been experiencing. Though she is strong, she feels weak and unworthy.

Found at a firestation as an estimated week old newborn baby with no sign of the mother in sight, or even a car that went by and dropped the baby off, she was already a head scratcher as she had been left with a note in old ink on tough paper, a name for her to be raised with. Born a boy, her name was to be Reuben upon request of the anonamous mother or father. She was eventually, and rather quickly, adopted by a firefighter who found her, Jasmine Enriquez, and welcomed her into her family with her husband, Raphael, and their two year old daughter, Akiko. Until the age of around three, Blythe had been a typical child, all until she wanted to be just like her sister and mother, getting upset and throwing tantrums when she wasn't dressed like her sister in dresses or skirts. Her mother was eventually very positive about her childs apparent wants, Jasmine started to dress Blythe just like Akiko. On the other hand, Blythe's father did not take his childs wants lightly. He started to alienate Blythe from her mother and sister, trying to attempt to make her 'realize' and 'straighten' her out to not behave and act like a girl. But with a pushback from Jasmine, her parents fought constantly over Blythe, and her mother almost always won.

At the age of five, Blythe was used to Raphael trying to continue and make her 'be like a boy'. He had cut her long hair multiple times, jagged and leaving her in the bathroom or kitchen and forcing her to clean it up. It came to a point of once she had accidentally dropped a pot of water when walking it to the sink to the hot stove, and her father went into a fit and forced her hands onto the hot burner. It left her hands burned and when at the hospital she simply had to say, "I was playing around." Only months later was Blythe and Akiko playing outside when they kicked a ball across the road, and the two went to retrive it. Even with looking, a speeding car had come straight their way. Akiko managed to push a freezed up Blythe out of the way, but got struck moments later. Blythe only came out with broken bones and road rashes, but ultimately watched and was with Akiko when she sucumbed to her injuries. Her father blamed Blythe for Akiko's death, while her mother could only stay in hysterics and comfort Blythe.

Shortly following the death of Akiko, Blythe's mother got sick. She couldn't work anymore and was mostly bedbound, with an illness that doctors couldn't understand. Raphael had found this to be the perfect time to finally get back at Blythe, making her life turn even worse as he began to abuse her further, her mother helpless to stop it. Blythe hardly saw her mother unless her father was on a work trip, and Blythe was affected by her own illnesses, such as chronic illesses, ehlers-danlos syndrome and epilepsy, which caused her to miss school multiple days and make her get teachers to visit and teach her at home. This made it easier for her to be abused without teachers and others to see the signs. Blythe was abused in many ways, and ended up resorting to self harm when relatively young. As she turned shy and reclusive did her more harm, but its one thing that she did to protect herself as years went on.
