A brown furred she-cat with green wings and a red flower tucked in her hair. Amaranth, better known as Amy, hadn't meant to meet Spade, she hadn't meant to develop a soft sport for him, and she certainly hadn't meant to accept his marriage proposal. But she did, and now her actions had finally culminated in the stack of divorce papers in front of her, eagerly waiting to be signed.

Growing up in Flower Town, Amy spent her time signing in the meadows as she went to pick flowers. Soon, her peers and teachers recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a singing career. Taking their advice in stride, she booked singing classes and hired a voice coach. Over time, her connections in the music industry grew. Now, Amy's singing career was at its peak. It was then she first met Spade.

The two were scheduled to perform together in Flower Town, a concert that Amy was not looking forward to. She hadn't even met the guy before and now they were forced to sing together. Besides, Spade was just some stuck up guy despite all of the tabloids praising him for being a "rising star" and fans swooning over his good looks. As if he had any! Spade was just some wanna-be rookie. Or at least, that's what Amy thought until she met him.

Spade's charismatic grin beamed at Amy as they made their way to her house, flanked by crowds of reporters. Once inside of her home, the two sat down and discussed thier plans and other unimportant stuff. What was important however was how cute Spade's smile was. Maybe the news columns were onto something. Maybe, just maybe, Spade really was pretty.

As the days passed, the two rehearsed and rehearsed until the fateful day of the concert. The performance was a success, and it was ranked one of the best concerts by hardcore fans. But what was the fans' favorite part was the shocking moment when Spade suddenly got down on one knee and held out a glistening ring. The audience's loud noises all blurred in the back of Amy's mind as shock coursed through her veins. They had only met two weeks ago. Wasn't this going a bit too fast? And yet, as the fans expectant screams and yells Amy knew what she had to do. She didn't want to let her fans down, she didn't want her reputation to be ruined. So, she said yes.

To say that the wedding was widely celebrated would be an understatement. Throughout it all, Amy's affection for Spade grew brighter an dbrighter as their bond strengthened. He really was perfect for her and vice versa. Yet, she couldn't help but ask Spade why he proposed to her out of the blue to which he merely. After that, Amy didn't bother to ask. She assumed that Spade was just extremely good at predicting the future.

Their marriage was tense to say the least. Not even a year after they got married, Spade was seeing some young, pretty girl. Amy ignored it, and continued to stay a loyal wife for him even when he was with the other girl in their own house. No matter how slick Spade thought he was, no matter how many lies Spade told, Amy saw right through it. Day after day, night after night, Amy struggled to be a perfect wife for him and for the public's watchful eyes. What happened to them being together forever through health and through sickness? What happened to the sweet words Spade would whisper in her ear, affirming their eternal love? She missed Spade, the one she married in the first place not the one person he was now.

Their marriage had lasted for two years until Spade dropped the divorce papers onto her desk. In disbelief, she asked him what they were for, The answer she got was one she had been dreading since Spade had started seeing the other woman.

"They're for us," he explained before jumping in to list grievance after grievance. As if he had any! Amy knew, Spade knew, they both knew, that Amy had done no wrong in their marriage. Yet, Spade continued listing excuse after excuse until she finally snapped. A shouting match ensued. Tears fell. Amy demanded to know what she did wrong, yet Spade refused to answer. Finally, when Amy's voice had gone hoarse and her eyes could no longer continue crying, Spade spoke up. Quiet and threatening, he dictated that if Amy didn't sign the papers he'd leak out private tapes concerning their marriage. Tapes? Yes, tapes. Spade had recorded videos of the two of them going at it and threatened to release them to the public. She didn't think he would blackmail her. But she knew that it would hurt her career more than it would hurt his. Relenting, she signed the divorce papers.

Two weeks later, Spade got engaged with a new girl.

Loyal | Self-Restrained | Gregarious

After her divorce, Amy moved back to Flower Town where she was regarded disdainfully. The divorce had plummeted her into disgrace but it was better than the alternative. She lived her life quietly and managed to reconnect with an old friend of hers, Camellia. Through Camellia she became enemies with the two children she mentors, Clover and Sprout. The four of them help out with decorating Flower Town during its monthly festivals.
