they have two different hard drives; the primary one holds all of their technical aspects and knowledge of their purpose, capabilities, and their origin. the second contains all temporary information that they receive about, and from, their human at the time. this information includes the human's name, their interestes, likes and dislikes, and more.

when shipped back to their manufacturer, R.E.S.H.I. is cleaned up, polished, and disinfected. prior to the factory reset of their secondary hard drive, they are asked a series of questions to make sure that they didn't conduct any virus or corruption while away. they are then given one final inspection before being shipped to their next human.

inside their upper torso is a modified lithium-ion battery that is their main power supply. these types of batteries are used in modern electric vehicles.

they have three main types of sensors: radar, pressure pads, and a camera. their radar is a software-defined sensor that's used to determine distance, velocity, and boundaries of their surroundings. its wide FOV and high resolution ensures that they're able to operate safely. there are specialized pressure pads on their hands and feet that, not only can recognize object obstruction, but can further determine texture and temperature. a 3D camera is located within their visor that has two alternate modes: nightvision and infrared.
