The daughter of a once established merchant family, her family's livelihood was destroyed at the hands of Ruairi's family. Seeing the despair brought to those she loves most, Thistle becomes determined to bring glory to them once more. She joins Beacon to become a Hunter for fame, fortune, and perhaps a husband to help rise her family back to the status they once had. Upon seeing Ruairi enrolling at the same time, fury overtakes her and she gains a second goal : bringing vengeful ruin to Ruairi as well.
