Maverick

Percy is fairly emotional, and isn't the best at hiding his emotions. It's particularly easy to tell what emotion he's feeling at any given time, from happiness, embarrassment, frustration, sadness and everything in between. He also tends to empathize with people very well, just he's not necessarily the best at expressing it to others due to him not knowing how to deal with his own emotions very well. All this contributes to him being very outwardly idealistic towards others, generally being able to see the best in others, and being concerned with the best plan for everyone.
Despite his outward traits, Percy also has a very cynical and derisive streak towards himself. He's not very confident in himself or his abilities, which can get in the way of important decisions, and his opinion of himself is fairly low. He has a huge tendency of blaming himself when things go wrong. When irritated or frustrated he tends to become fairly sarcastic and cold with his opinions and reactions to things.
As a musician and adventurer, Percy is a fairly creative person both in creating melodies, using his magic, and coming up with plans and courses of action. Despite his faults in confidence, his ambition to keep improving is what allows him to act on what he thinks up. Percy also has a very strong sense of logic and paired with his creativity he's very good at figuring out solutions to problems thrown at him.
