Profile

A very wild and unpredictable creature, Dendra is rather intelligent despite her rash and animalistic behaviour.
She acts in a manor one could compare to a bear, always trashing about, and getting extremely agitated when startled. Though, she does appear to have a very good understanding of the world around her. For instance, it would be impossible to try to trap her in a cage or tempt her with bait.
She is always wary of her surroundings, and always on guard. As a result of this paranoid personality, she is very aggressive and prone to wild outbursts, so she isn’t too social with others of her kind either.
It would not be wise to approach her… but if you bring her a slab of meat and give her space, she might not eat you.

Do not let her beautiful colours and nature-like appearance fool you, this species of wyvern are incredibly dangerous and usually quite hostile if someone enters their territory (though Dendra is probably more so than others).
These creatures have an enormous wingspan in order to lift their muscular bodies, and the wings are patterned with a green camouflage to help them blend into their surroundings. It is thought that the wing colours change during seasons, to match the condition of the trees and grass.
She is covered in dark, fleshy warts, and these secrete a nasty poison that can cause nausea and headaches if it gets into your body (via physical contact if you have any sort of open wound).
The crest around her head is usually flattened down around her face, so only her tongue protrudes from the end- this emits a pleasant aroma that small mammals and larger insects can’t resist. The crest is only opened wide in acts of display, or to threaten an opponent.  The similar shape on her tail provides the same function, but obviously she cannot eat from her tail, so she usually positions it in her view, so she can strike with her sharp snout when prey arrives.
