Vivianite Gems
Vivianites, as a collective gem type, where developed and actively produced at the begining of Era 1. They are natural terraformers, and tend to go hand-in-hand with Lapis Lazuli gems in terms of breaking down a planet for colonization. They are capable of producing large amounts of biohazardous liquid from their palms, vibrant magenta in color. Such liquid is incredibly corrosive, primarially against organic material. When Vivianite gems emerge, they are equiped with specialized limb enhancers, of which house conduits that will absorb and emmit their biohazardous liquid as a sort of mist out their arms. This, of course, is what allows them to be effective at wiping entire ecosystems- such mist can and will be catastrophic when unleashed into a planet's atmosphere.
As excellent terraformers, they are also naturally capable of handling geo/bioweapons, such as Clusters, and the treacherous task of implementing these weapons into planets is often bestowed upon these gems.
Vivianites stopped being produced as of the Gem War. As the resource cost remained expensive to create new Vivianites, the cost to create new Injector drills lowered as technology advanced and drills became more streamlined. Injectors could complete the same tasks any Vivianite could, and they became obsolete.
The remaining Vivianites where useful regardless in assisting in the Gem War for their hardy nature and inherent danger towards a lively planet like Earth. When the Diamond Authority demanded a Cluster be planted beneath the Earth's crust at the end of the Gem War, Vivianite (the individual) and her crew where the gems ordered to complete this task.
