Description

Hidden away in the countryside is a dense grove full of countless fruits and berries. Rabbits and birds dart across the rich soil, collecting and storing food in relative peace. The person tasked to watch over these grounds is a young and enthusiastic farmer named Citrus. She was gifted the Candied Orange Orchard by her business-oriented aunt who’s moving on to a larger plot. The once rigid and structured ranch has softened to match the new bubbly and optimistic owner. While her aunt was worried about numbers and profit Citrus just wants to have fun and grow as a person.

Both the orchard and farmhouse are relatively small, but they’re equally beautiful and well maintained. The farmhouse is ornate and lavish, furniture so fitting one could say the scene is picturesque. Still, there are two bedrooms to spare so Citrus hires live-in farm hands to help her with production and the hard labor. These roommates also provide companionship and keep her company- something someone as energetic and talkative as her most certainly needs.

Citrus’ main passion in life is baking pastries and pies, so she’s overjoyed to take full advantage of the bounty around her. Most often she can be found in the kitchen, whipping up the next batch of tarts and jams to sell at the local farmers market. Going to the markets is the highlight of her week, she loves talking with anyone who engages with her in the slightest. It's easy for her to meet new people and maintain conversations for hours. This open and inviting nature has given her business outstanding success that's destined to continue for years to come.
