all of my skins have 2 layers !
add-ons can be stacked ! as in, you can have wings and elf ears and glowing eyes (if you have quite a few, i can discount it !!)
the bottom of the hands and feet, inside of the legs and arms, and the bottom and top of the torso are shaded [:

i test all of my skins and add-ons in-game, if something bugs i will try my best to fix it, however, i am a beginner when it comes to modding Minecraft, and i may not be able to fix certain difficult things. theres a discord server for the moreplayermodels where you can help if you encounter a problem i cant fix ^^
