LEGO Ninjago fancharacters, based exclusively on seasons 1-5.
These characters would have introduced the plot of a hypothetical fan-season wherein Kai turned against the other ninja, an AU that was once known as Breaking Kai.
(the title was a Breaking Bad joke.)
Aika Hanamura
Making the best of a bad deal.
ABOUT
A sweet and shy girl who seems almost completely normal. Except for the fact the spirit of her dead older sister is fused to the back of her skull. The sisters are inseperable. Aika has a lot of insecurities about her existence as a yokai - and the ravenous hunger that comes with it. Doesn't remember much of her childhood.
Very polite and rather demure in demeanor. Aika is afraid to open up and be forthcoming about her issues, she's rather withdrawn and comes across as shy. But she can be quite excitable and outspoken about her passions - just ask her about her poetry!
Masao Hanamura
Ladies, he's single.
ABOUT
The youngest of a large but poor family, Masao was often struggling to make ends meet for almost his whole life. Things got worse when suddenly one of his older brothers left him to raise his two daughters. With three mouths to feed, Masao was at his wits end - until suddenly his luck turned around and he found himself owner of the Lucky Clover Coffeeshop! It's just too bad his luck didn't stay turned around.
Despite everything that's gone wrong in his life, Masao tries to look on the bright side and be a positive role model for his remaining niece. Sometimes a little airheaded and over-eager, but he really just wants to do whats right and put a smile upon everyone's face.
Kyo Hanamura
Young, Restless, Hungry
ABOUT
Aika's older sister, forever young in death. Neglecting her own needs in life, everything she did was to provide for her poor family. Running in with the wrong crowd, this eventually became her own undoing. She mysteriously died shortly after securing a deal that lead to Masao's ownership of the Lucky Clover Coffeeshop.
She'd done everything she could to hide her less than legal dealings from Aika and Masao, and neither seem to have a clue.
Immature, reckless, and highly emotional. She very much so embodies the experience of being sixteen - eternally. Very supportive of Aika's passions, but highly protective of her little sister. She will often lash out at anyone she feels is a threat to Aika's happiness or well-being through possession of her hair.
Yasu Mochizuki
Crazy like a fox.
ABOUT
Highly enigmatic and mysterious - Yasu is a woman of wonders. She works miracles, and she makes wishes come true... at a price.
An observant and cunning woman, she always knows just what to say to someone to get what she wants with smooth talking. She paints herself as a generous and kindly old woman but she is highly traditionalist, she hates what the land of Ninjago has become - and she hates what Wu's family has done to the art of ninjitsu with their invention of spinjitzu.
Who knows just what she might do in pursuit of bringing back the good old days.
