Daisuke

Daisuke is a large, fluffy light-blue wolf with dark freckles on his face, dark hair, and dark accents on his wrists/ankles and phalanges. His chest and pawpads are white and his eyes are purple and green. Occasionally he wears his collar that sports a small green “B”, representing his partner Bread. He has two tattoos, the angel wings on his back and his partners name in katakana and English.

Daisuke used to have a very happy-go lucky personality despite his situation. He put on a happy face to cope with his home life and got used to keeping his emotions to himself. As this would lead to his downfall, Daisuke is more open to showing his true emotions, although only around Bread. He is still a huge jokester, some of which humor comes from his blunt attitude. His friend know him as loyal and dependable, always doing the most for those he cares for (although is too modest to admit it.) Daisuke still struggles with confrontation and negative feelings, especially with other people, but is working on it.

Throughout his childhood, Daisuke was emotionally and, on occasion, physically abused by his father. While his mother was kind and loving, he still hated the family dynamic. He attempted to latch onto friends from school for happiness, knowing he would come back to a home that had hardly any love for him. His father spurred Daisuke to move out while he was still a teenager.

Despite his home live, Daisuke attempted to maintain a positive attitude about life. He was bottling up all of his negative emotions from the past and the present, which would manifest into an alternative ego he named ‘Ekusiad’. Eku would take consciousness whenever Daisuke became emotionally vulnerable. His alter-ego was not an issue until Daisuke met his boyfriend, Bread.

Bread was caring and an emotional rock for Daisuke, and vice versa for Bread. While they were there for each other, it was Bread that was forced to take the brunt of Ekusiad’s abuse and negative nature when he took form. Ekusiad forced Bread to leave Daisuke, in turn throwing him into a downward spiral.

Without Bread, Daisuke felt empty and turned to alcohol to forget about him, as well as to suppress his alter-ego who would find it easy to take control with Daisuke in such a rough spot.

It remained this way for a long time until Daisuke ran into Bread again. They both cried and yelled at each other but realized they still had feelings for each other. Knowing they may face hard times once more, the two decide to try and work things out and start over.

Daisuke would proceed to get the two tattoos, one of Bread’s name and another of angel wings. The angel wings are symbolic of his attempt to rid Ekusiad from his life completely, now that Bread is back with him.
