Born into a lineage of talented artists, Carina learned early on that anything less than perfection was unacceptable. The pressures to fit into the mold set by that side of the family, drove her to relentlessly push herself in her pursuits, namely ballet. Her innate insecurities blossomed in growing up in the environment where artistic excellence was demanded. Carrying the weight of that, coming to the grimm realm, terminated her progress in the mortal world. Discouraged and having to start over from scratch in an entirely new realm -- and soon getting a door ceremony as the daughter of Bruno Madrigal, being granted a gift came with a self-imposed weight of pressure to prove herself to the paternal side of her family. This burden is compounded by her gift of empathy, which heightens her sensitivity to the emotions swirling around her, both external and internal.
Despite that, her laid-back and partially reserved nature still remains acutely perceptive of other's thoughts and emotions, including her own flaws and those of her family on both sides, tinged by her insecurities. Having made and bonded with the other Madrigal descendants during her time, Carina forged considerate relations with those around her. Unfortunately, she met her end by one of Chernabog's champions, a son of Gaston.
- The ability to sense the emotions of those around her with perfect accuracy, proving to be overwhelming & draining should she allow it to overpower her, unless with training. Able to focus her mind on the emotions of specific people & absorb the emotions of those around her, and project other emotions.
The son of Dolores & Mariano was like a little brother to her. They're on good terms.
The daughter of Isabela is a good friend. Carina learned basic sign language for her.
The daughter of Mirabel is a fun and bright person to be around, a good addition to Casita Peqena.
The son of Alice, and Emiliano's.. bf? Carina was hospitable to Terry when he needed a place to stay, and let him reside within the walls of Casita Pequena with the rats. They are on good terms!
