Harold is an eccentric young man with horrible difficulty when it comes to hiding his emotions. He's unintentionally forward and quite easily excitable, but attempts to maintain a formal persona for his profession. It's easy to see that he's too involved in his work, and he becomes incredibly anxious when there's no more to be done. He hardly allows himself to sleep because he doesn't believe he's deserving of a break, and he won't stop working unless something physically stops him.

While he maintains a rather impersonal approach to others and insists that he doesn't need company, Harold absolutely thrives when surrounded by other people. The issue with this is that he doesn't distinguish between positive or negative attention, and will intentionally provoke others for the sake of having a conversation.
