• grew up in a remote village on a farm and has always dreamed of bigger things
• there wasn't much to do, so besides helping on the farm, he read a lot, loving books about adventurers and knights and all those brave people who settled out into the unknown
• he wanted to do that too... in all fairness, to him, the big city a few hours away from home already was the great unknown to him xD
• so when he turned a legal adult, he left the farm and the village and went to the city
• where he joined a private military and research firm that was doing things all over the globe
• they promised helping people and he got to travel, he felt like he finally got the modern equivalent of his knighthood novels
• but then... the apocalypse happened... and his firm is involved
• and suddenly his boyfriend mistrusts him and everything goes to ruin
• he tries to make things right, but dies in the act
• somehow, however, he comes back
• he claws himself out of the earth with a darn headache, his head heavy, only to find whole a** antlers growing out of his skull
• he isn't sure what happened, but he sees it as a second chance, going on to help fight whatever is going on for a better future
