Cashew's Comments

Okay, so I saw his name and I'm like, "no way! That's what I was gonna name him because he looks like a Cashew and they're one of my favorite nuts." Pistachios are my #1 favorite though.

I would love the chance at drawing him, developing his backstory/lore, commission art for him and just overall really give him the love he deserves. I'll spare you the basic information and go into his personalities and backstory.

Personality

Cashew is kind, caring and understanding. He believes everyone deserves second chances and knows that everyone makes mistakes. He is trustworthy, empathetic as well as outgoing when it comes to the ones he loves and cared about. Cashew also has a hidden charm to him and can be quite flirtatious, especially if he is talking to his crush. Although, just like everyone else, Cashew has a darker side to him. He can be deceiving, arrogant, moody and self-centered and most of all... Have a hatred towards humans.

Backstory

Cashew was born in a family home, his mother was their pet cat who the children named Marshmallow. Cashew was born in a litter of six, three sisters and three brothers. He and his siblings were born in early spring, the birds were chirping and the children were already at school. He had finally opened up his eyes and his ears were finally open, it was time for him and his siblings to see the world for the first time. They would play and get into mischief, just like any other cat or kitten, getting into things they shouldn't, knocking things off of shelves, tables, etc. Cashew had taken a liking to the windowsill as he would look out into the big wide world, wondering what life is like as a street cat. Of course, he was happy being a family pet, but he was always curious, considering his father was a street cat, he wanted to meet him some day.

A few months passed by and Cashew was now three months old. He had grown into a handsome young cat, though he was still a kitten, but had matured quite a bit. His siblings had all been adopted besides him, it seemed nobody wanted a cat who had his coat markings. They all seemed to think he was ugly. "Am I ugly mother?" He asked his mother who looked at him with kind eyes, "no my son. You are not ugly." "Then why does no human want me?" His mother let out a sigh and spoke softly, "humans cannot see your true beauty. Humans are- well... Complicated my son." He just nodded and looked outside again. The family kept trying to rehome Cashew but nobody wanted him.

A year has passed by and now Cashew is all alone on the streets, fending for himself. The words of his once human family haunted him, "get rid of that mangey cat! Nobody wants him so throw him outside and be done with it!" Said the father, "but dear, he won't survive out there on his own." Said the father's wife and the children said, "but he's so ugly mom!" His mother passed away when he five months old, they blamed him for his mother death even though it wasn't his fault. She had died from a cat disease, he couldn't remember what it was called. As he walked the streets of this town he had encountered many different humans and other animals. Some nice, some.. not so nice, he was hungry, starving really, he hadn't eaten for nearly two days besides a little tiny bit of food that was only enough for a small mouse.

He continued to live on the streets and would wonder how his brothers and sisters were doing. Were they being taken care of? Or were they abandoned just like him? He looked up at the night sky as the stars twinkled in the midnight sky.

I'm gonna leave this as a cliff hanger. I always find cliff hangers suspenseful. I really appreciate the opportunity to adopt him.

that's a good story, i wanna know what next happens to him;0 he's yours, i'll send you him in a moment:33
