Nate was born into a wealthy family in New Orleans, he hated it. His parents expected him to be a perfect child, enrolling him in fancy schools and forcing him to do way too many sports. At age 14, he realized he was anything but straight. He kept himself closeted to everyone except his dire wolf best friend Blake. Nate and Blake were raised together since they were both in diapers. They had gone through everything together. Nate was constantly at Blake's house, desperate to stay as far away as possible from his family. As high school approached, things just got worse. With more ad more pressure of his parents, Nate snapped. He began to go to parties, getting crossfaded or both high and drunk every weekend to block out his life problems. Blake tried to pull him back to reality to no avail. Since Blake couldn't help, he decided to stick by Nate's side to make sure he didn't get himself killed. As high school progressed, he began to drop sports one by one. At this point, Nate was an angry, hormonal, bisexual addict that was throwing his life away. He got to a point where he was paying and/or intimidating other students to do his homework and give him answers to tests so he could pass semesters.

 Junior year rolled around and he finally got caught cheating on the finals and was failed for that semester. His parents were pissed to say the least which only added to his anger he already had. It sent him into a darker stage where he was more aggressive. He ended up in getting in many fights, even getting arrested once or twice. Then, Issac showed up. Issac was a transfer student, the new kid but he walked the halls like he owned the place. He put Nate in his place but in the process, the two hooked up. Then, Nate was trapped. Issac was very manipulative. He verbally abused Nate, and occasionally, physically abused him. Blake and Issac got into a fight, Issac almost killed Blake. Issac got tossed in a Juvenile Detention center for that. Nate was shook to the bone after the relationship, he shut everyone out even Blake. He got his life back together the best he could after it. He was quiet and snappy, not hesitating to bare his teeth to those he annoyed or crossed him. 

When senior year started, him, Blake, and a few others made a plan to leave as soon as they graduated. They all saved up that year and sure enough, as soon as they all graduated, they booked a flight and fled from their families and past lives. Nate, since he was 18, convinced the bank to give him his savings that were supposed to be for college and his take of the families money that was his by heritage. They all started new lives, everyone split their own ways. Blake and Nate were the only two to stick together. Nate helped Blake buy the bar that now is the best place in their part of California. Nate also found himself alpha of the "pack" that occupied Southern California. Blake became the beta, Nate's second-hand man. Nate also found a job for a multi-million company. He works as a agent that goes to other companies for many different reasons such as making deals or pacts for his company. Nate hasn't contacted or even attempted to contact his parents back in New Orleans.
