He tends to be permanently late. It’s a wonder he hasn’t been fired from his big boy job. No matter what time he gets up in the morning, he seems to be behind. Time deficiencies aside, Clark’s real problem is how much he cares. He tends to get too attached to people & refuses to give up on people. The only person he has ever given up on being his mother. While he comes across as cheerful & helpful, he’s also got a hidden side that’s really self-critical. He gets hung up on his mistakes & over focuses which does not always help him learn the full lesson from his blunders. Clark does, however, believe in working your problems out in a good workout sweat. His favorite sport would have to be surfing, but basketball is a close second.

Clark grew up with a single mother, whom was rather self-centered & not particularly well equipped to raise a child. Once he hit adulthood, he was able to look back & realize she didn't necessarily mean to be the way she is, that's just how she is. Scars with how she treated him have yet to quite heal, but he's in the process. As a result, he moved rather far from home & started over. He went to a junior college & graduated with an associates degree in xynthii relations. His main profession has him working with kids in low income neighborhoods, where he acts as a guidance counselor, but also coach & ref for the local basketball team. He coaches young boys & girls to work out their problems with physical exertion & to try to actually talk about their needs & emotions. Clark is far from perfect however, at 24, he has a long way to go to be really mature. Impatience is still the demon that bites him in the ass most frequently, & he's really bad about bringing up past mistakes he's done rather than learning & moving on. Sometimes he gets a thought, say in the shower, & gets hung up on that bad memory for hours, sometimes days, dampening his mood.
