oceanic vivianite

vivianite was created in era 1 by blue diamond as her first stand-alone Gem (meaning only blue diamonds essence was used to create her). she was the first gem to emerge from the planet we call the titan moon, back when she emerged the planet was nothing more than filled with water. she is considered a partial failure as her creation and emersion took too much of the planet's energy resulting in most of its water to dissipate. any and all gems who emerged on the planet thereafter were significantly smaller and weaker, blue felt guilt because of this and kept the issues hidden from both yellow and white.

vivianite is a very timid and scared gem and suffers from depression like her creator, having small bursts of hysteria, in which her lower arms hold her back from hurting others or herself. her powers were supposed to be similar to that of a sapphire but instead of future vision hers were to access if a planets cultivation of gems would be prosperous or a waste of resources. the powers do work, but when she accesses a planet that is a failure she becomes weak and unresponsive as she morns the planets soon to come death. 

she is currently in the hands of polaris diamond, as she is seen as a treasure to have.
